Men of Faith (Men's Ministry)
Objectives for 2004:
- Pastor will make mention of the men of United Baptist Church this year often, because of the emphasis God places on men, the impact men have on society and the church.
- Sunday School
- Rededication revival January 12-14, 2004
- Once a month prayer and chat meeting for the men, every first Saturday morning.
- Adopt a project abroad, Pastor suggest Haiti.
- From time to time Pastor will mention a family in distress that need urgent help, that we can take care of.
- Men's day is coming on the 4th Sunday in February, let us make this day, one of the most dynamic days this Church has ever experienced as it relates to men.
- Men to adopt the Scholarship ministry of UBC
Things to do, before the next meeting:
- Pray Daily
- Read daily (start Monday Jan 5th)
Psalms (Ps) 119:1-176 (suggest to read each section
daily)
Ps 1:1-6, Ps 8:1-9; Ps 27:1-14, Ps 51:1-19, Ps 34:1-22 &
Ps 71:1-24
- Make Sunday School a priority for the next 6 months.
