The Inescapable Holy Spirit
The Spirit of God was hovering over the waters - Gen 1:2

When we first hear the Bible say that we must have the Holy Spirit, we need to ask, "Where this Spirit be found?"
Genesis 1:2 reveals that this question does not have one specific answer. So does Psalms 139:7-10. Because the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the One who made everything, "He is not far from each of us. For in him we live and move and have our being" (Acts 17:27-28).
The Holy Spirit is much more than a personal friend who lives in our hearts. And the Spirit's presence is not confined to the building where God's word is preached and believers worship God together. The Spirit's presence and influence are as wide as creation itself. The Spirit is at work in the changing of seasons, in the springing to life of creation after winter and in the birth of children everywhere in God's world each day (Job 33:4; Psalms 104:30).
As Jesus informed a Samaritan woman, the important question in life is not to know where the Spirit of God is, as if you can go find the Spirit somewhere in order to worship the Lord. The question is this: Has the human heart recieved the Spirit and submitted to him? "God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth." (John 4:24)
Has your heart received the Spirit?

Verse of the Day
11 When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things.
